Information Architect, NYC startup

We are a NYC-based startup Application Service Provider seeking an extremely experienced Information Architect to design our system as part of a four month project beginning immediately.
We believe that our business hinges on our ability to transform the complexity of our software into visual simplicity. We are committed to invest in this portion of the project accordingly.
You will be working with a top notch application architect, team of programmers, and design lead.
A successful candidate MUST demonstrate:
A passion for and proven track record of making beautiful and elegant software.
Experience leading the IA effort on several large-scale web application projects
A talent for both high-level conceptual design as well as diligent attention to detail at the page level
You will be asked to demonstrate your qualifications by describing the
entire design life-cycle of a project, showing examples of documents
from initial "conceptual briefs" to use cases to storyboards to
completed UI specs and everything in between. Also, please be prepared
to discuss in depth issues related to both the logistical and creative
aspects of the IA role.
Candidates should live in New York City or vicinity and be available to
begin work within 2 weeks.
