Online Marketing Coordinator

Brief Job Description:
Coordinate day-to-day support of the website and email programs, including content maintenance, weekly email campaigns, site metrics and search engine optimization; assist with application testing and bug tracking; assist with online strategy and planning.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare website content and customer emails for fare sales each week.
- Develop, maintain and update content throughout the site.
- Coordinate customer email schedule for airline and partner promotions.
- Ensure all internet communications meet high usability standards while supporting the AirTran brand.
- Gather data and report on website metrics, including site traffic and campaign success.
- Monitor search engines, optimize our placements, track rogue listings.
- Assist with QA testing of new software releases for the website; coordinate with customer internet help desk to track and troubleshoot website bugs and other issues.
- Assist with internet strategy and planning for various customer groups, including leisure and business travelers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- 2 years experience working with a customer-focused e-commerce website.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to represent online marketing interests within the company and with vendors.
- Attention to detail, strong proofreading skills, ability to meet short deadlines.
- Experience with content development for the internet, with a focus on usability. Copywriting examples requested.
- Strong eye for design.
- General knowledge of internet platforms and technologies.
- Microsoft Office, Visio, and some HTML authoring skills.
