KOHL Group Job Description KR 012105_Simulation Developer
Arrangement: 1 to 3 month contract (probably full time during February; then part time during March and April).
Title: Prototype/Simulation Developer
Location(s): Middletown, NJ with possible brief travel to UK, Germany, and a yet to be determined Asian City (probably Japan or China).
Start: February 1, 2005
Description: Work with our team of developers and usability experts to develop a simulation for usability testing and focus group purposes. Simulation will provide a two-dimensional representation of an enterprise-focused, desktop voice communications system and include a high-level of behavior for interactive testing of 20 to 30 features offered by this product. Prototype will be run on a touch-screen computer. There will be three language versions of the prototype – English, German, and an Asian version to be determined. Text changes (in the three different languages) will be the only version-to-version variations – the physical interface will remain constant. We seek a developer with expertise in creating prototypes/simulations in high fidelity and with significant and robust/reliable behavior so that meaningful interactive user testing and focus groups can be accomplished. Experience creating high-fidelity communications systems, especially working with different languages, is desired. Any tools that will support this development will be considered (VB6, .NET, etc.).
