Our client is a leading supplier of "tools for Nanotechnology". They develop and manufacture tools that enable research; development and manufacture of Nanoscale features by helping their customers understand their three-dimensional structures.
As a member of this development group, you will specifically be responsible for creating the UltraView user interface component and integrating it into the existing DualBeam™ product(s), which are scanning electron microscope products used in the characterization of defects on semiconductor wafers. You will work with cross-functional teams in a collaborative and enthusiastic environment for the development of a new product and technology called UltraView.
Exceptional interpersonal communications skills are required due to the high degree of interaction and collaboration across functional groups expected with this role.
The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in multi-disciplinary environments to solve complex technical problems. If you enjoy the development of high-performance integrated systems, this is an excellent opportunity. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline. An advanced degree is not required but is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years software development and/or systems integration experience. Preference for development experience with highly-integrated, high-performance systems used in semiconductor capital equipment or related industries.
Must demonstrate clear ability to design and integrate effective user interfaces for complex, highly-integrated systems (3 years experience required).
Proven ability to program using the following languages and techniques within the listed development environments:
Visual C++ - 4 yrs.
MFC - 3 yrs.
Object Oriented design - 3 yrs
ATL - 3 yrs.
COM - 3 yrs.
Active X - 3 yrs.
Windows NT - 4 yrs.
Further preference given for 3+ years of development experience with image recognition, motion control and hardware automation applications; and the XML programming language.
Willing and able to travel up to 25% of time - There are several geographically dispersed teams involved in the development of the these key products.
