LPL Financial Services, headquartered in Boston and San Diego, provides access to a full spectrum of financial investments and services within the retail securities industry. As the leading independent brokerage firm in the U.S., we currently have the following position open in our San Diego office:
User Interface Manager
Position will function as a Technology Strategy Manager reporting to the Vice President of Technology Strategy and will work within the department to design and test approaches to new and existing on-line applications.
Candidate will provide user interface design, scoping, field study, and validation deliverables. Qualifications include an advanced degree in Human Factors / Usability or a minimum of 5 years experience in usability and on-line interaction design.
Experience with User Interface Design programs such as Photoshop; Illustrator; Flash; and Dreamweaver is also required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential; the successful candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task over across a number of technology initiatives.
A background in the financial industry is preferred and the position requires occasional to moderate travel.
