Senior User Researcher

Avenue A | Razorfish has an immediate opening for a user researcher in our New York office. As a member of our User Experience community, you would work with our strategy, creative, and technology teams to:
§ Conducting primary and secondary research to understand user behavior online
§ Understanding target audiences' needs and other motivating factors
§ Developing key insights and frameworks to inform design decisions
§ Creating user personas and scenarios based on primary research
§ Developing POVs around specific user populations and in specific industries based on ongoing research work
Qualifications
§ Degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction, product design, interaction design, anthropology, human factors, or equivalent experience
§ 5+ years experience developing interactive products
§ Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following research methods: ethnographic research, usability testing, participatory design, focus groups, surveys, expert evaluation, or web data analytics (e.g., conversion analysis)
§ Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
§ Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
§ Experience working with design teams to translate user research into design decisions
§ Willingness to travel
