Job Description: Applications are being accepted for one senior position in usability and human factors research at the U.S. Census Bureau in the Washington, DC metro area. This senior position involved research, consulting, and directing the work of experienced researchers as head of the Human Factors and Usability Research Group in the Statistical Research Division. This research position can be filled by a computer scientist, a research psychologist or a professional in a related field with substantial experience in usability testing and human factors research. Compensation incluldes an annual salary ranging from $88,369 to $135,136, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent in computer science, a social or behaviorial science or related field is prefered, but not required.
Experience in conducting usability testing and human factors research as well as a record of innovative contributions to the field is highly desired.
