My client is a leading global telecommunications operator and are looking for an experienced handset UI designer to be based at their home counties office in the UK.
Description of Duties: -
Drive agreed UI strategy
Support Product Manager in interface to handset manufacturers
Job Description: Responsibilities
Branding & graphic UI
Handset hardware interface and key layouts Use cases & usability Screen flows Wording & prompts International co-ordination and collaboration
Operational experience
Minimum of 3 years experience of user interface design and implementation Experience of managing 3rd party vendors and suppliers Demonstrable record of delivering innovative interface solutions to improve user experience Understanding of graphic design and interaction architecture
Personal Characteristics
Creative thinker
Self starter who is patient and thorough with good attention to detail Presentable individual with strong presentation skills Passionate about design and usability
Academic Background
Design or relevant UI degree or equivalent relevant experience
