Senior Designer (full-time)

Job Summary
iapps is looking for an experienced and dedicated Web professional to join our team as a full-time Senior Designer. The Senior Designer will serve as a design lead for iapps' Web-based projects and will work closely with developers and project managers to ensure full client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the design process with clients
- Creating quality web designs for top tier foundations and nonprofits
- Working with project managers and developers to define site architecture and interface layouts
- Ensuring the consistency and quality of design work from other contributing designers
- Working with production staff to refine and improve design processes
Desired Skills/Experience
- At least 4 years experience in Web design field
- Experience working directly with clients to establish design objectives for project
- Experience designing for data-driven Web sites
- Strong focus on designing for the user
- Ability to translate design from mock-up to XHTML/CSS
- Excellent understanding of information architecture and usability standards
- Strong understanding of 508 accessibility guidelines
- Experience developing site maps and wire-frames
- Excellent Web design skills necessary; print skills a plus
- Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
- Flash and InDesign/Quark experience a plus
