Lextant is currently reviewing portfolios of qualified Senior User Experience Strategist professionals who can lead a team or be part of a team to humanize complex interactive experiences. Senior User Experience Consultants maintain client relationships, lead user-centered design activities, conduct user research and use testing, and manage projects. At Lextant, you will provide customer insight for design and strategy challenges, join and contribute to a growing team, and work on exciting programs for interactive, retail, consumer product, and brand design.

~ preferred 7+ years of experience with applied human factors and user-centered design
~ advanced degree in human factors, human-computer interaction or equivalent
~ excellent information architecture, user research, and problem solving skills
~ expert in applied user-centered design practices for complex applications and consumer products
~ deep expertise in user behavior and human factors techniques for design
~ expertise and experience with a variety of user research and usability testing approaches
~ working knowledge of prototyping tools and languages including Director, Flash, HTML, Java, etc.
~ must have awareness and point of view on industry developments and market needs
~ experience in proposal writing and development of new client relationships
~ must be self-motivated, good communicator
~ strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive and profitable client relationships.
~ experience as a consultant a plus
~ some travel required
Candidates should present a body of work that:
~ Demonstrates a passion user-centered design and processes
~ Demonstrates application of user research approaches and rationale
~ Shows resulting interaction architecture or wireframe designs
~ Shows experience with diverse content
