Hi to all, following please find the posting for several paid internships positions at UOC, a leading e-Learning University, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary:
Intern Usability Positions at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC’s) Barcelona, Spain
The internships positions (from 2 to 4) are for students in psychology, human-computer interaction, industrial engineering (human factors emphasis), or a related area of study. These are paid internships and each have a term of 6-12 months. Work is performed at UOC’s corporate Headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.

USABILITY INTERN - Responsibilities:
Work with UOC’s Usability Program team in User Centred Design, HCI, Human Factors and usability evaluation, conduct user needs assessments, develop formative usability studies, and research on user interface, all under the direction of an experienced Team.
Requirements:
- Experienced in user interface design evaluation processes
- Skill in prototyping with tools such as Visual Basic, Director, TML/XML, Java, or Flash
- Practice in planning and conducting behavioral research experiments or evaluations
- Enrolled in a university program in psychology, human-computer interaction, industrial engineering (human factors emphasis), or related area of study
- Some formal training in quantitative and qualitative research design and data analysis for the social sciences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ideal candidate will also have: Knowledge of the eLearning industry and demonstrated creativity, high energy, and ability to drive projects.
