National College of Ireland is playing a leadership role in the development of technology enhanced learning through the development of its e-Learning research centre and incubation centre, the International Centre for Education and Learning Technologies (ICELT). As part of its strategy to become an international centre of excellence in learning technology, applications are invited for following positions:
LECTURER in LEARNING TECHNOLOGY
Salary: € 42,765 - €70,191
A focus in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Technology Enhanced Learning, Adaptive Educational Systems, Student Modelling, Empirical Studies.
A strong research background with a publication record in the area of learning technology is a requirement. A successful track record in securing research funds and leading research projects would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must hold a relevant post-graduate qualification at Phd Level.
The ideal candidate will also have an enthusiasm for teaching, excellent communication skills and a commitment to student centred learning.
The successful candidate will play a leadership role in the establishment and development of an active research programme centred around Learning Technology. They will also lecture on part-time and full-time courses.
