Userfocus is a consultancy and training company specialising in usability, web accessibility and human factors. We have a reputation for providing practical support and commercially realistic advice to a range of clients including Kodak, Barclays, Microsoft, Orange and Whirlpool.
We are looking to recruit an individual with experience in the specification and documentation of user interfaces. Ideally you will have gained this experience working with small screen consumer devices, such as mobile phones. Your role in Userfocus will be to act as the bridge between information architects (who will do the design) and software developers (who will implement it). You MUST have previous experience in this role -- to get the job, we will ask you to show us user interface specification documents that you have produced in the past.
The role offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects (not just websites), to travel and to further your reputation in the field. We offer a salary and benefits package commensurate with the position. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
We would also be interested in hearing from contractors with the right experience.
Userfocus is an equal opportunities employer and operates flexible working policies. Although we are based in London, you need not be so long as regular, personal contact with the base is maintained.
Applicants with a disability who meet the essential criteria for the post will be guaranteed an interview.
HOW TO APPLY
E-mail your CV to jobs@userfocus.co.uk by May 12th. Our requirement is urgent, so you are more likely to get the job if you apply quickly.
