MIT Voting Center as part of the CAL Tech/MIT Voting Technology Project is seeking an HCI Voting Researcher(Human Factors Person):
The qualified candidate must have experience and interest in human computer interaction research. This person will help define experiments which demonstrate new technology's effect and improvement on current voting practices. This person will get involved with national conversations concerning the future of voting technology on all levels. B.S. in computer science or related field a plus, and experience and expertise with the following is
essential: human computer interaction experimental design, administering experiments, evaluating data and capturing the data in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others is a must. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
required. Person must also have strong presentation skills, as
they will need to present research data. Strong ability to facilitate processes and organize people is also required. Position is full time for a six month period.
