My employer has been looking to add a solid Information Architect to our consulting team. I wanted to throw out the basic position specs to see if there might be any interest from this group. Feel free to drop me a line with any questions or a resume.

INFORMATION ARCHITECT
Description: Information Architects engage with clients to facilitate the organization of information to help users effectively fulfill their information needs. The Information Architect must be able to design the organization, navigation, labeling, and search systems of sites leveraging usability best practices resulting in measurably successful user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with project team to create site structure, concepts, and interfaces in line with functional requirements and industry best practices
- Preparing IA documents including site maps, navigational schemes, wireframes, and functional specifications
- Leading and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to refine IA methodologies and processes
Experience:
- At least three of professional experience as an information architect or interaction designer
- Prior experience as Information Architecture lead with strong client interface skills
- Knowledge of content management systems, graphic design software, and other IA tools
- An extensive understanding of usability design and translating results into design decisions
- A BS/MS in information science / human-computer interaction or BFA/MFA in graphic design
