MusicStrands is expanding rapidly in Corvallis. The MusicStrands Discovery team is devoted to providing users with an exciting, entertaining, and easy way to explore, consume, and enjoy music.
Presently we are looking for a Usability Engineer to aid in pioneering this product.
You will be a user experience thought-leader, driving the long term business vision and innovation in this area, and translating them into reality. You should be highly motivated, have a strong passion for technology, and work well individually, or in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication-skills are a must, as well as, working in a fast-paced environment, where changing gears quickly are a must.
You will work with your team on the scoping, planning and the execution of design/usability activities while demonstrating the ability to drive process improvements, encourage innovation, and execute and deliver to firm deadlines.
Qualifications include a degree in Human Factors, Design (interaction design, industrial design, visual communications, or related field), Psychology, HCI, behavioral sciences, or something similar. Degree in computer science or 2+ years software development experience required.
