Job Description:
Adobe is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and enthusiastic User Interface Designer to join its User Interface Design Team. This person will be focused on developing innovative, future-looking interactive designs for Adobe Stock Photos, a hybrid e-commerce web and desktop application. Adobe Stock Photos is a new service for finding and purchasing stock images in the new Adobe Bridge file browser in Adobe Creative Suite 2, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, and GoLive
CS2 software. The work will include creating solutions to overcome current customer pain points as well as shaping and driving designs on the next generation of user interfaces.The designer will be involved in evangelizing these efforts among fellow designers and across the company with the aim of creating a dramatically improved Adobe user experience.
This designer will be responsible for working effectively with the individual product teams and with the UI Team's cross-functional disciplines, which includes User Interaction Designers, User Researchers, Visual Designers, and Technical Writers.
Knowledge & Skills:
A degree in either Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience -- with at least 1 year designing e- commerce solutions. Experience as a desktop application UI designer is a plus. Also specific experience with print, web-publishing, page layout, illustration, and/or digital video applications is a plus.
