User Researcher (UR-HH)
Avenue A/Razorfish has an immediate opening for a user researcher in our New York office. As a member of our User Experience community, you would work with our strategy, creative, and technology teams to:
* Understanding target audiences' needs and other motivating
factors that drive behavior, and developing key insights and frameworks to help clients and design teams respond to the work
* Helping to translate insights into concepts for compelling
interactions and experiences
* Developing POVs around specific user groups and in specific
industries based on ongoing research work
* Consulting to project teams on user insights and behaviors
relative to their projects
Qualifications
* Degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction,
product design, interaction design, anthropology, human factors, or equivalent experience
* 5+ years experience developing interactive products
* Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following
research methods: ethnographic research, usability testing, participatory design, focus groups, surveys, expert evaluation, or web data analytics (e.g., conversion analysis)
* Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
* Experience in client services and negotiating business
decisions
* Experience working with design teams to translate user
research into design decisions
* Willingness to travel
