Location: Mountlake Terrace, WA (20 minutes north of Seattle)


Job Summary
The Web Reporting Analyst will create, update, distribute, and present reports and analysis of web site user activity to business stakeholders, the eBusiness team, and the company. The Analyst will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and eBusiness team members to define metrics that provide visibility into the adoption and end-user behavior resulting from, or indicating the need for, usability improvements.

The Analyst will recommend improvements to the web analytics program that support stakeholders' and eBusiness team members' needs for understanding end-user behavior and adoption potential.

Candidate should be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical/problem solving skills, and strong oral and written communication (including presentation) abilities. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to communicate technically based information to business stakeholders. This requires an understanding of web technology and how it affects reporting, and an understanding of business drivers and strategy.


Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with eBusiness and business stakeholders to define report, metrics, and data needs; help business stakeholders determine appropriate metrics to measure goals

2. Communicate business value of data and reports

3. Create, update, distribute and present web analytic reports on regular and ad hoc basis to business stakeholders and eBusiness team

4. Interpret reports, discover areas of concern, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate recommendations

5. Define web page meta-tag values as needed to support data collection and reporting

6. Track and report search engine placement and recommend changes to improve placement

7. Be point of contact and liaison for other departments and divisions on analytics issues

8. Produce and maintain concise, understandable documentation describing business needs and processes used to create reports

9. Drive resolution of issues and problems

10. Other responsibilities may be established by mutual agreement between Analyst and manager

Minimum Qualifications
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience
- At least 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to use multiple data reporting applications to efficiently extract data
- Understanding of web technology (such .NET) and how web technology affects web analytics
- Excellent skill to manipulate data in MS Excel
- Excellent written communication skills, especially with MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience creating and distributing web analytic reports
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and react appropriately to customer and team needs
- Ability to identify whether a project can be achieved within a proposed budget or schedule
- Ability to manage time effectively
- A track record of maintaining and improving skills through training or self-research
- Strong motivation to learn, willingness to be a strong team player, yet operate independently as required


Additional Qualifications Preferred
- Statistical understanding and experience
- 2+ years experience with WebTrends
- Information design experience
