IMMEDIATE NEED:
Contract IA needed for Medical Broadcasting Company, a Philadelphia-based interactive marketing agency focusing on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Telecommuting OK – some travel to Philadelphia will be required
- 20 hours min. wkly. + 30 day retainer + option for renewal + possibility for full time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and design site architectures, wireframes and detailed process flows
- Develop task flows and user personas based on research and business requirements
- Usability testing preparation with specific knowledge of card-sorting exercises
- Developing use cases and personas (primary + secondary audiences)
- Participate and lead heuristic reviews of web sites or design artifacts
- Perform competitive site content and gap analyses
- Ability to understand and apply key business documents: Strategic Brief, Client Business Briefs, Demographic Research, and Competitive Landscape Analysis
- Potential supervision and management of Associate Information Architects
- 3+ years working as an information architect or interaction designer including experience designing organization schemes, navigation, and search for large, complex website applications
- Solid understanding of user-centered design processes
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in established software tools (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
