As a result of the work done in this position, our customers will continually find it easier to learn and use our products to accomplish their tasks. This position includes the following activities: work on specific projects from conception to realization to ensure that usability evaluation is incorporated into the whole process, create UI specifications, based on ISO specifications, design and implement experimental protocols to identify software usability issues and compare the merits of alternative proposals. The successful candidate will also create test materials and participate in administering usability tests, translate usability research findings into concrete design recommendations, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure that issues are addressed. S/he will contribute to the ongoing development of User Interface standards and guidelines, and develop and apply innovative usability metrics for the purpose of continual product improvement.
