Getty Images has a great opportunity for a talented and experienced Interaction Designer with excellent problem solving and communication skills. Work in a dynamic team-based environment and be responsible for defining the user experience. You will work independently on multiple projects and effectively prioritize your work items. Be responsible for creating high-quality, innovative user-centered experiences that balance the needs of all of the stakeholders, including business and technology.
We expect you to have some project management, process, team leadership, and mentoring skills. You must have both the ability and the desire to work in partnership with user research and usability. Collaborating and communicating both within discipline and across disciplines is a key skill that contributes to your success as a designer.
Getty Images has one of the largest collections of creative, travel, Illustration, and archival photos in the industry. We also have a growing news, sports, and entertainment photography business. A Bachelor degree in Industrial Design, Information Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design or equivalent degree is required. Qualified candidates should have five or more years of relevant experience in a software development environment. Portfolio presentation is expected.
