BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for overall management of global Oakley online creative direction including the entire network of Oakley owned and/or operated websites and other related initiatives.
Exclusive exploration of creative possibilities as it relates to each Oakley online project.
Creation, compilation, and ongoing revision management of Oakley digital style guidelines, coordinated with Oakley worldwide marketing and graphics. This includes timely notification to the management team and all related resources with each style change.
Responsible for the creative vision as executed by both internal and vendor resources including:
- Initial and ongoing training on Oakley style guidelines.
- Recurring quality assurance checks of asset imagery at various points in the creative process.
- Presents approved asset-produced creative options to General Manager and/or entire management team along with recommendations.
- Facilitation of meeting creative milestones and deadlines as set by project managers.
- Responsible for meeting business objectives as they relate to creative production.
- Integral member of specification process including:
- Review of every specification document, focusing on opportunities to enhance the customer experience, especially relating to user interface and usability.
- Enhancing the creative direction set forth in the specification with detailed guidance enabling the successful execution of the project.
- Approval of creative components within the specification.
- Along with domestic and international producers, the Manager of Online - Creative is responsible for specification, as appropriate.
- Responsible for seeking opportunities to improve upon online creative including: seeking new partnerships, new software, etc.
- Key member in all management team discussions as well as meeting lead (including agenda creation, agenda updates, scheduling, and action items) on all Creative Presentation Meetings.
- Responsible for timely use of project management systems including: eProject, Exchange, MS Project, Entourage, Excel, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
3-5 years managing design of user interfaces Working knowledge of usability as it relates web design Experience designing user interface prototypes (ie, UI wireframes) Experience writing creative specification documents Expert photography and Photoshop knowledge
PLUS FACTORS:
Usability lab testing background
Experience in formulating customer surveys
Illustrator, Flash experience
