The User Centered Solutions Laboratory is a dynamic, cross disciplinary research team of engineers and user-centered design specialists helping people feel more connected through advanced technology. Our team works as a part of Motorola Labs, 800 dedicated scientists and researchers providing Motorola with technologies and solutions for the Next Big Things. Our current focus areas include content enriched communications and ambient communications, exploring how advanced forms of presence and social awareness can enhance the communications experience.

You are a smart, action-oriented and non-dogmatic professional with a proven record of working well in a multidisciplinary team and across organizational borders.
Your education includes an M.S. or Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or related fields.
You have previous research and design experience in an academic or industrial research setting.
You have interest in and shown research contribution in the areas of content enriched communications and/or ambient communications.
