Medical Broadcasting Company (MBC) has a full-time opportunity for a Director User Experience / Information Architect willing to work in the Philadelphia area.

JOB SUMMARY:
Will formally define the site structure, and create site maps establishing global and local navigation. Will work both independently and alongside other design team members to create premium results for MBC's clientele. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must, along with solid visual presentation skills.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years of solid industry experience dedicated directly to an Information Architecture role, with demonstrated track record of appropriate deliverables (controlled vocabularies, nomenclature schemes, taxonomies, etc.). Degree in a relevant areas of study strongly preferred, including: Computer Science, Library Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, related fields of Psychology, Communication Design, Visual Design.

Management experience of both staff and contract personnel, in addition to leading the IA function, forming department organization, and making staffing decisions is a plus. Should have practical experience employing user centered design methods. Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams a must. Must have working knowledge of standard office software, including Microsoft Office. A passion for attention to details and clear interface design is essential. Portfolio required.
