Position I - Intranet Site Manager (Aon internal web sites), Full Time, Chicago, IL
Position II - Sr Content Manager, Aon.com (Aon external facing web site), Full Time, Chicago, IL
Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum work experience required: 4 ? 6 years experience web site
management and content management
Position reports to Corporate Communications
Description of duties & responsibilities:
Conduct content analysis to determine target audience, content needs,
and content plan for Aon intranet sites.
Work with content providers to determine how business unit material
fits into the overall site architecture
Provide and adhere to content guidelines and content management process
Develop information architecture for specific sites
Review and edit content supplied by business for clarity, effectiveness
(using writing style guidelines)
Consult Business unites on how to leverage intranet new resources,
tools and business applications
Provide content managment training and support to business unites
Complete content entry.
Special skills required:
Ø Detail orientation
Ø Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ø Ability to facilitate focus group discussions to discover and understand
user's needs, objectives and working methods
Ø Experience developing online content
ØGood project management skills
Ø Strong organizational abilities
Ø Action oriented, good follow-up skills
Ø Strong writing and editing skills
Ø Strong understanding of online marketing
Ø Good Knowledge of information architecture principles
Experience with professional services marketing content
