Deb Hester & Associates seeks qualified Usability Specialists to join Axiom's growing team immediately for an exciting customer support opportunity in Boise, Idaho.
Primary Function
General administration of laboratory experiments including test environment set-up, data collection and subject interviewing. You will work closely with human factor engineers and other experts with test design, to define and generate an experimental task list, as well as formatting and interpreting data to compile reports. You will also provide project management expertise to ensure projects are completed on time and meet predetermined scope.
Primary Responsibilities
Scheduling and coordinating resources to set-up and run
usability tests including but not limited to:
o Participant screener development
o Coordinating test participants that meet screener and lead
time requirements
o Scheduling test facilities
Performing on-time usability testing using appropriate non-
leading/confidence building interview techniques for both quantitative and qualitative/exploratory usability tests
Data-logging using time capture software (client's presently
OVO Studio's software)
Minimum Requirements
BS in HFE, CS or Psychology
1 year of related experience
Customer relations experience
Experience using web-based tracking tools
Ability to process highly detailed information accurately
Ability to gather and analyze data
Demonstrated ability to express ideas effectively
Capable of being effective, organized and prepared in a
changing work environment
Basic skills with MS Windows
Proficient with MS Office Professional
