Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity in our San Francisco office for a Sr. Usability Engineer. As a member of our talented development team, you will be working closely with engineering and product management teams to design the look and feel of our clients web applications, with a strong focus on ease of use and simplicity.
Responsibilities include: driving user-centered innovation throughout the Primavera product suite; improving the look-and-feel to match the evolving vision of the products; participating in requirements review, scoping, storyboarding, writing use cases, functional specifications, UI specifications, prototyping, functional and UI verification, development and testing; defining, maintaining, and enforcing UI design guidelines; expanding our usability test practice and incorporating results into the products; ensuring consistency within and across all products.
Here are the requirements for this position
*BA/BS in HCI, Information Services or a related field with 5+ years designing and developing interfaces (preferably for web-based enterprise applications).
*3+ years exp. programming in HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
*Solid understanding of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) issues and agile/iterative development.
*Experience with usability practices for web-based enterprise applications
*Experience with case development for web-based enterprise applications
*Experience with technical documentation for web-based enterprise applications
*Experience with QA procedures for web-based enterprise applications
*Experience with writing user-interface design specs for web-based enterprise applications
*Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle and developing internationalized applications is a must.
*Highly developed verbal and written communication / interpersonal skills required.
*Strong attention to detail
*Ability to execute on multiple priorities is a must in this fast paced environment
