POSITION TITLE: Sr or Princ Visual Designer
Location: Redwood Shores, CA
Oracle's Usability Organization was recently decentralized along
business lines, creating several new open positions and opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Applying creative visual concepts or the visual design language from
Oracle's corporate UI standards to application windows, dialogs, and
wizards.
*Design splash screens and graphic expressions for UI elements in thick
and thin client products.
*Work with other members of the UI team to develop infrastructure and
processes to streamline efficiency and quality of throughput.
*Supervise and closely track assignments of junior visual designers.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have MS/MFA in graphic design or BA with at least three years of
visual design experience in the software industry.
*Must have online portfolio available for review.
*Must have strong organization skills and a keen eye for detail.
*Must have history of sound project management of self and others.
*Must have proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML.
Fireworks, Flash, and knowledge of SVG a plus.
