POSITION TITLE: UI Developer - Prototyper
The UI Prototyper will be a key player in a talented and strategic user interface design team dedicated to conceiving and designing Oracle Web applications based on UI standards. In partnership with interaction and visual designers, the UI Prototyper will work to implement dynamic Web application prototypes based on visual mockups and written specifications. We're looking for creative problem solvers who are extremely detail-oriented and able to juggle several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in computer science or similar field
2+ years experience in rapid prototyping of web applications, not just
web sites
Advanced understanding of HTML, D/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and the DOM
Solid understanding of developing applications across browsers and
platforms
Able to debug and problem solve
Proficiency with various design tools
Knowledge of XML/XSL a plus
Java/JSP/JSF development experience helpful but not required
Experience working as part of a usability team helpful, with some
knowledge of user interface design principles, interaction design
guidelines, user-centered design processes
