JOB: Usability Consultant – Wilmington-DE
We are looking for a contract consultant for a 4 to 6 month project in Wilmington-Delaware area. The consultant will leverage the current UI, make suggestions for improvements, continue to establish UI patterns and develop models for new interface elements/screens as the product evolves. In addition, this individual will assist in efforts to redesign an existing content-driven website to allow both static content as well as dynamic data coming from the application to create a seamless user experience for the Members' end users. On the application side, our client is about mid-way through the business analysis for this release, and are looking for someone to join the team who can leverage and/or improve upon the existing application UI patterns and the documentation being created by the business analysis team (Activity Diagrams, Use Cases, and System Requirements Specification documents) to develop the UI for this area.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a professional software development environment and ability to work collaboratively with respective members of that team including business analysts, developers, and end users.
* Experience in working with both web applications and content-driven websites.
* Demonstrated experience in user interface design, information architecture, and usability-driven approaches.
* Ability to both educate and draw requirements from end-users and business Subject Matter Experts in order to effectively meet and balance the tactical and strategic objectives of the enterprise.
