POSITION TITLE: Visual Designer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Conceive, design, and develop visual design language for Oracle’s application UI standards.
*Design graphic expressions for UI elements in thin client environments.
*Collaborate with other designers, prototypers, product managers and engineers to develop innovative, user-friendly, best-of-breed designs.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have BS/BA in graphic design and at least one year of visual design experience in the software industry.
*Must have online portfolio available for review.
*Solid understanding of user-center design principles.
*Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of graphic design, layout, color, and style.
*Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML.
*Some experience with dynamic interfaces or animation, possess a passion for great design and show an exceptional eye for detail.
*Flash, Fireworks, and knowledge of SVG a plus.
