Head of User Research, Norwich

Established in 2002, my client is a Norwich based consultancy who are experiencing a growth in their business operations and hence the requirement for a head of user research to join the team to help lead the department. Reporting to one of the managing partners, you will take responsibility for managing the research department, coaching and developing the skills of a small team of researchers.
You will have both an outstanding professional and academic background with at least a Masters education in a Psychology, HCI, Market Research or related field. Preference will be given to those with substantial experience in HCI. You will have an up to date grasp of qualitative and quantitative methods for gathering and analysing user behaviour. You will also have considerable writing abilities; developing proposals, briefs, reports and presentations to a very high standard.
This position has the REAL potential for promotion to Director level within 12 months for the right candidate. Helping contribute to the value and profitability of the company will bring you substantial rewards.
The role is UK based, however regular travel within the UK is expected.
Salary: £40 – 60,000 depending on experience.
