Covering for a minimum of 7 months my client is looking for a strong,
experienced leader to
lead the usability offering in the process and development of
user-friendly content, tools and
converged services for web, CD-ROMSs, PDA’s and mobile. There is also the
small task of leading
the re-brand working alongside other Usability teams within the wider group.
Working in a forward thinking company based in central London, you will be
tasked with stimulating and
managing the team and its offering as well as the commissioning and
briefing of a usability test agencies.
Key elements of the job are:
* Contributing the customer experience of a large CMS-managed portal and
leading development of
it’s IA, interaction design and governance.
* Establishing and maintaining best practice guidelines and
communicating them to relevant teams
* Producing the IA,
* Ensuring that Usability test feedback is incorporated into flows and
wire frames
* Working with product managers and business analysts to ensure new
products and tools are user friendly
* Managment of usability profile within the company and the wider
group
Required expereicne:
* 6years + experience as an IA or interaction designer within an
agency or consultancy environment
* Evidence of successfully establishing user-centered design within a
large organisation
* Experience of working on products/solutions that are pan-European
* Strong grasp and good knowledge of interactive design, broad range of IA
tools and techniques, eye
for detail and a methodical approach to IA
