(GAPS) Center takes pride in its leadership position for applying innovative human factors knowledge and methods to improve patient safety.
We are currently seeking a full-time Research Scientist/Cognitive Engineer to conduct research on computerized clinical reminders and apply cognitive engineering/usability testing methods to the design of several software packages used throughout the 169 medical centers and 850 outpatient clinics in the VA. A PhD is preferred, but we will considered qualified candidates with an M.S. in a human factors field.
The position will be based in Cincinnati, OH (the selected candidate cannot work from another location).
