Responsibilities

In this position, you will be part of a human factors engineering (HFE) team. You will be working closely with an extended, multidisciplinary team to define usage models, scenarios, personas and use-environments in and around small and large business environments that focus on a core set
of usage areas for the digital office. Your responsibilities will
include but not be limited to:
- Designing technologies that enable IT and business end users to enjoyably use networking, computing, and communication devices in business environments
- Crafting capability descriptions that hardware and software engineers can interpret and use to design CPU, chipset, and other components that will deliver superior user experiences for IT and business users
- Planning validation research to help determine how interested both IT and line-of-business end users are in the planned product capabilities, and to refine design constraints for delivering compelling user experiences

Qualifications

You must possess a Master's degree with major studies in Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Cognitive/Experimental psychology or areas related to behavioral aspects of engineering.

A Ph.D degree in these areas will be preferred. This position required 3-5 years of experience in HFE or related user-centered discipline in a business environment specifically related to enterprise related area.
Experience with IT administration and management will be highly desired

Additional qualifications include:
- Prior experience in user interface design and full life-cycle needs- research as well as evaluation methods for designing ease of use into technology and products
- Familiarity with usage models, personas, usage scenarios, task analysis and requirements writing
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Strong leadership and ability to drive work across multiple disciplines.
- Strong inclination towards in business-oriented computing, networking, and communication electronic products
