We are a small, “boutique” qualitative market research firm in Manhattan: we conduct focus groups, usability testing, and ethnographic interviews. We have a Fortune 1000 clientele in various industries, including eCommerce, pharmaceutical, financial services, media and fashion.
You would conduct focus groups in addition to ethnographic interviews and usability testing, according to your interest, abilities, and experience.
Job will require travel every few weeks.
* Experience conducting market research is required.
* Experience with ethnographic interviews, focus groups and/or usability tests is a plus.
* Applicants with quantitative experience only should not apply.
* We are looking for someone who is congenial, smart, outgoing, organized, and articulate.
* A certain amount of tech-savviness will be helpful, though the job does not require a technical background.
* You will need to feel comfortable working in a busy, multitasking environment.
* Fluency in English and excellent writing skills are a must – we will require you to conduct a sample group and write a sample report if you are a finalist.
* Sorry, no relocation fees available.
BA required; MA preferred, ideally in HCI, psychology or liberal arts field.
3+ years of general business experience is required.
