Description:
Digital People is searching for a Usability Analyst who possess a experience/background in Information Architecture. The usability analyst is responsible for creating and ensuring a positive user experience within the clients Intranet. As well as develop, maintain and enhance the usability of the website. The IA/Usability is a vital component throughout the entire site development process. This position works closely with Directors, Designers, Copywriters and Technologists providing tools to guide them through the Development phase. This position will create monthly and ad-hoc reports regarding system performance and user interaction with major web and email systems.

Essential Functions:
* Assist in defining Functional and Usability Requirements.
* Review application, create prototype of sitemaps, wireframes, workflow charts, user profiles, user scenarios, organizational models, functional requirements and navigation structure from discovery to completed phase.
* Implement, research, analyze and advocate IA/usability strategies.
* Implement usability testing strategies, analyze test results and make recommendations.
* Collaborate and support interactive directors, business unit owners, tech team, designers, QA personnel from discovery phase to implementation.
* Use strong conceptual design, information design and problem-solving skills to Manage the conception and creation of compelling, highly usable web interfaces that result in increased sales, conversion rates and continuous improvement in Customer Satisfaction.
* Effectively balance usability, interface design and graphic design skills.
* Works with project team to develop user scenarios in support of stated business objective.
* Write strategic briefs to drive fresh content and interactive features to keep the online branding experience fresh and relevant for the clients Web site visitors.
* Conduct internal pre-launch review of projects, develop a user experience Q&A testing to ensure accurate execution and positive user experience.
* Conduct competitive site research, review and analyzing industry trends and monitor interactive campaigns (website, email and flashes).
Requirements:
* Must possess at least 2 years experience, Usability Analysis, E-commerce Information Architecture and user experience preferred
* Solid knowledge of flowcharting tools (Visio, dreamweaver, Inspiration, etc.)
* Create interactive prototypes, conceptual models, site maps, wire frames, navigation systems, process flows, and labeling schemes to clarify and refine new software solutions
* Deep knowledge of usability and information principles
* A sound understanding of graphic design principles and information design issues
* A strong understanding of programming, relational database design, and cross-platform development and their effect on front-end architecture and design development
* A strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, various multimedia applications such as Flash
* Strong sense of software development methodologies
