You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to conceptualize and design consumer experiences using the next generation of tools and technology. Additionally, you will be involved in interaction design, creating usability scenarios, prototype development, and usability testing.
You should have a keen attention to detail while still being able to retain a higher level strategic view; the ability communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with both internal teams and with clients; and the desire and drive to produce an elegant architecture, sound functionality, and brand-appropriate experiences.
Qualified applicants are formally trained in design, information science, library science, engineering, psychology, human factors, HCI, or related fields with at least 3-4 years of experience doing information architecture, information design, and/or usability work on the job. Rich media and touchscreen experience would be beneficial. Expertise in Microsoft Visio 2003 is required, and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash would be helpful.
Compensation will be within industry standards and will vary based on experience and skills.
Applicants must be in the San Francisco Bay Area, be available for in- person meetings, and be able to work on-site occasionally.
Please send your portfolio URL, a letter of interest, and your resume describing your skills and experience to jobs-1231@fluid.com.
