POSITION TITLE: Senior Visual UI Designer
DURATION: Full-Time or Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tellme Networks is the premier provider of internet-powered phone solutions for consumers and businesses. As a Senior Visual UI Designer at Tellme, you'll be responsible for shaping a consumer experience spanning the web, phone and other media.
User experience is at the core of what makes Tellme great. We're looking for creative, detail-oriented, passionate designers who love a highly-collaborative, fast-moving environment. You'll be working with product managers, engineers, graphic designers and speech designers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* driving the next generation of consumer interactions
* leading projects end-to-end - from requirements to refinement
with end users
* profiling consumers and understanding their communication needs
* designing task flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups in html
and on paper
QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS or MS in HCI, cognitive science or related field, or
equivalent experience
* Proven success launching web sites / new products
* 5+ years hands-on visual and interaction design experience
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Mastery of user-centered design processes
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Web prototyping skills (HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash)
