Our client is a leading enterprise software provider of electronic payment solutions to Fortune 1000 merchants across North America . We are looking for candidates that desire a career with a dynamic, growing, and progressive software company. Strong market demand and ongoing expansion of the product suite have created an opening for a talented individual to join the rapidly growing team. We are seeking an experienced UI/Usability Designer for a full-time position located in the Holland , Michigan office.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborates with Product Managers and Software Engineers to provide guidelines on solid UI design for company products and to build mockups and prototypes of HTML and JSP templates to deliver to developers for coding
Working with internal staff or external customers to gather usability requirements and document use cases*.*
Documenting fully the user interface (UI) functional requirements for each product.
Creating designs, wire frames and prototypes of user interface features for all products.
Conducting onsite and offsite usability studies and capturing feedback for improvement.
Identifying enhancements to current UI and creating innovative solutions that improve the user experience.
Producing UI designs and features that maintain consistency with corporate branding.
Requirements:
Previous experience in software industry required.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or related field.
3+ years current UI and usability design experience,
preferably for enterprise software applications.
Extensive experience with usability studies and deployment.
Solid understanding of and experience in HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, and Java.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced work environment.
Superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
