User Experience Designer
QUALCOMM Cambridge, UK


The QUALCOMM User Experience Group (QUE) is seeking user experience professionals to lead the design of next generation mobile applications and services. We are looking for creative self-starters who are capable of driving user-centered design from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have some experience designing for mobile devices and possess a passion for great design.


The responsibilities of this position include: designing, documenting, and evaluating applications for the mobile device and working with global, inter-disciplinary design, marketing and engineering teams to finalize designs and oversee realisation.


- 3+ years experience shipping consumer software and/or products
- 2-5 years product management experience in general.
- Successful track record of applying user-centered design processes - inc. UE Lab user testing, prototyping


- Competence with design tools such as Visio, Photoshop, Illustrator are a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills a must


B.S./M.S. in cognitive science, interaction design or HCI-related field
