Web Developer/Designer, Aggregate Knowledge

We are looking for an AJAX/CSS/Javascript/HTML guru who also has design experience. Ideally you can design the UI as well as code it.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years experience, marked by a proven track record of success in producing consumer-facing sites.
This is a full time contracting work moving to salaried position. Location is flexible within the Bay Area.
Responsibilities include:
- Interaction and Visual design of the site.
- Developing next generation web interfaces with technologies like AJAX
- Supporting features like drag and drop and dynamic layout
- Converting design specifications into standards-compliant HTML and CSS
- Producing modular markup for integration into dynamic systems
- Designing customer-facing help systems and other online services
- Rapid releases as part of a cross-functional development team
Required skills and proficiencies:
- AJAX
- JavaScript
- Expert HTML hand-coding skills
- CSS and CSS-hybrid schemes
- Knowledge of HCI/user-centered design techniques
- JSP, PHP, or similar technologies, Ruby is a big plus
- Cross-browser/platform experience
You must be a self starter capable of contributing to team immediately.
